We strive for the highest safety standards, not only do our clients expect this, but so too do our employees who fully embrace our safety culture and who are the most important factor in how we maintain and develop health and safety throughout the business. We operate a cycle of continuous improvement, adapting our policies and procedures and adopting ‘best practice’ techniques; the key to effective health and safety management.
We have a dedicated Health and Safety Manager who works with our engineers/operatives to consider all aspects of health and safety when engaging in major projects or packages of works. Once a Scope of Works or specification has been agreed with the client, a comprehensive and robust Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS Pack) will be produced in order to identify and control all hazards to ‘As Low as is Reasonably Practicable (ALARP) and ratified by all parties involved. All employees are encouraged to be pro-active in minimising risk, within the workplace.
Employee well-being is an integral part of our values. We carry out regular health surveillance for: hearing, lung function and hand-arm vibration. In addition, all employees undergo regular face-fit testing. Our overriding intent, is to work closely with our clients to ensure that everybody goes home safely at the end of the day. The welfare of our employees, customers, suppliers and the public are of the utmost importance beyond all other aspects of our business.
