Health and Safety
Health and Safety Overview.
ARC Fabrications believe safety management is an integral part of any project. We have a dedicated Chartered Safety Professional who works with our engineers to consider safety at all stages of the project. Once a specification has been agreed with the client our safety director will produce a detailed RAMS pack (Risk Assessment and Method Statement) in order to quantify and control all significant hazards. ARC Fabrications believe the key to effective safety management is to analyse and constantly review site specific hazards.
In order to achieve this, all ARC Fabrication employees have undergone practical risk assessment training and they complete a daily site specific risk assessment before work begins.
In addition to risk assessment, ARC Fabrications have always ensured their employees are highly trained in a wide range of safety related subjects. Examples are: Confined spaces, Manual handling, Working at heights, Abrasive wheels, Mechanical lifting and COSHH.
Our overriding intention is to work closely with our clients to ensure everybody goes home safely at the end of the working day.
ARC Fabrications can also facilitate the provision of a variety of safety related training. Our safety director is qualified to deliver a range of safety related courses which include: IOSH, SSSTS, SMSTS and City & Guilds confined space entry.
We pride ourselves on having an excellent Health and Safety record and benefit from being able to offer cover to 5 million pounds in terms of both public and products liability.
